People can be anxious when they decide to visit a church and wonder what to expect, so we’ve put some information here to help with that. Here are some FAQ’s.
Where do I sit?
You can sit wherever you would like. We try to have some seating available both toward the back and the front so you can feel free slip in and out quietly if you like, or be bold and sit right up front. Either way, you’re our guest!
What should I wear?
We don’t have dress codes and just like anywhere else it changes according to the weather. Casual wear is just fine. Some enjoy dressing up, some don’t. The important thing is to just be you.
Am I expected to Give?
Giving tithes (10% of your income) and offerings (what you feel like giving) is something we ask our church family to do. It is a way of continuing our ministry here and abroad and commiting to this local group of believers so that we can continue to move forward. You are welcome to give at anytime, but we do not expect our guests to give donations of any kind.
What kind of music will I hear?
We have a blend of styles including Gospel, traditional and contemporary Christian music that you may have heard on Christian radio or from other Christian artists, both new and old.
Do I have to join the church or be a member?
We would love to have you become part of our spiritual family, but no, you don’t have to be a member to gather with us. Just come and try us out and let’s see if this is a place for you.
Is there childcare or services for children?
At East End our children are a major part of our ministry. We offer an in person service for all ages. (Infants- Middle School Students)
